What’s In My Make-Up Bag?

I don’t know about you but I absolutely love taking a peak inside of someone else’s make-up bag. How about you? These are the products that I take with me when I go out so I won’t be including everything I use on a daily bases. Okay, let’s just get right into the fun stuff!

First off, the make-up bag that I am currently using is by Stephanie Johnson and it’s called the “St. Lucia Medium Zip Cosmetic Bag.” Here is a link if you want to check it out- it’s super cute! The one thing I always have to have with me is definitely concealer. The concealers that are in my makeup bag rotate all the time but currently the two I have in it are the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer and my Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer. I’ve been loving Urban Decay’s Chill Makeup Setting Spray for my dry skin. As for eyes, I’ve been into lining my waterline so I carry around the Nano Eyeliner by Sephora Collection in Midnight Black. I also love to bring a highlight for my cupids bow and the inner corner of my eyes so I’ve been using Benefit’s Watt’s Up. I also like to bring a brush for touch ups by Bobbi Brown. For my lips, I have been carrying around Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Smitten. Also for lips, I have got to have my lip balm in there because my lips are crazy dry and my favourite is Minted Rose Lip Balm but I’ve also been using my Baby Lips’ in pink punch. As long as I have these things, I know I’ll be fine!

I hope that you enjoyed this post and please leave me any nice comments you have down below because I would love to interact with you guys. I want to know what is in your makeup bag as well so please, leave it in the comments below!

beauty blender babble

Who already owns a beauty blender? Okay now who is deciding whether to get one or not? Whichever category you fall into, you have come to the right place! The other day I went to Sephora and finally decided to give the beauty blender a try. There was so much hype about this product and how it was unlike any other sponge. In this post I will share my thoughts, tips, and overall first impressions!

My experience with the beauty blender was great. I found that it made my foundation look very natural and made me look a lot better than when I apply my foundation with my fingers. The way that I use my beauty blender is quite self-explanatory. First, I run my beauty blender under cold water until it gets very large and then I gently squeeze out all of the water leaving it damp. Next, I pump out foundation onto the back of my hand, dip the beauty blender into the foundation, and then I stipple it onto my face. It is very important to wash your beauty blender after each use, just like your brushes. When you are done with your beauty blender make sure to take some baby shampoo and then wash your beauty blender with it carefully. Also be sure to make sure you squeeze out all of the shampoo, keep rinsing it until the water runs clear.

Obviously, the beauty blender is no time saver and is not for you if you are always in a rush. That being said, I think that it is worth the money and if you take care of it, it can last you a long time. I would recommend the original beauty blender to a friend. Please leave requests for more posts and/or reviews down below!

My Favourite Youtubers and Why!

Nowadays  I think every girl has watched at least 20 thousand beauty youtube videos. Today I’m going to tell you my favourite youtubers and why I love them!

Okay first off, you need to find a beauty guru who has your skin type. For the longest time I just watched youtubers who had oily skin and really, that didn’t help me at all and just wasted my time. Now, I have some dry skin youtuber favourites! 🙂 Here are my favourite girls (in no particular order!)

Number 1: MissJenFABULOUS Okay so I honestly only watch her nail videos but I love her nail tutorials. They are so informative, creative, and helpful. Go check out her newest video on Easter nail art!

Number 2: TheMakeupChair is an amazing, amazing, amazing youtube beauty guru! She is a makeup artist who is very knowledgeable and although she has dry skin, she talks about products for all skin types.

Number 3: MacBarbie07 I’m sure that you all know Bethany and her fun, happy, and charming personality she brings into her videos. They put me in a better mood and are also put together quite nicely. Bethany is someone that you can’t go wrong with and she’s super sweet!

Number 4: AllThatGlitters21 I love Elle! She’s so sweet and her room is so elegant and gorgeous! Elle has the cutest white cat and I swear, Elle is as pure as Pinecone’s fur. Elle also has dry skin which is a total plus however she doesn’t normally shop at drugstores like I do because I have a very low budget!

Number 5: Blogilates Last but not least we have to throw in some fitness videos! Cassey has a big personality that makes you want to keep doing those squats even if you’re dying . I love when she gets off topic and starts talking about random things because it makes me forget that I feel like I’m dying!
